HOUSE MUSIC IN THE HILL COUNTRY | VAUDEVILLE | FREDERICKSBURG, TX
If you’ve ever had the chance to check out what is happening in Fredericksburg lately, I can assure you that Vaudeville is the staple there that is setting the trend. Who would have thought that you can have an experience consisting of flavors from the south of France + fashion & style as clever as if you were in Milan Italy.
GOURMET CENTERED MENU
You can get all of that and a bag of chips; just kidding, there are no chips here, but there is a gourmet menu fostered by a world traveling culinary artist – Jordan Muraglia. His selection ranges from healthy minded appetizers like the Burrata to more modern new american flavored Lump Crab Curry. Jordan is very polite and cordial, but he isn’t shy about his vision. Check out their bistro menu .
GALLERY OF REALLY COOL & FANCY THINGS
Richard is Jordan’s business partner who runs another facet of this huge complex is downtown Fredericksburg. Montreal, Quebecers are known for speaking French and Richard holds true to that tradition. Montreal has also been known for it’s style and that is what Richard brings to people of Central Texas. If you want a handmade coffee table from a European designer, or other Knick Knacks to decorate your space with, trust met, talk to Richard at Vaudeville . He has very good taste, probably because he is plugged in with every vineyard in the new Napa Valley of the world – Fredricksburg, TX
DJING HOUSE MUSIC IN FREDRICKSBURG? YES!
So before I did this gig, I was concerned because the party didn’t have a scheduled organizer or planner, and the client insisted on playing House/Dance/UntzUntz Music. House music in sophisticated areas like Ibiza, Los Angeles, Miami- “I get it!”, but in the middle of old German Town, Texas? As a DJ I was worried, because I wasn’t sure if Richard & Jordan’s vision was going to transcend in an area known for Oktoberfest, and with guests making requests for old 1920’s Swing songs.
Boy was I wrong. I was playing House records in the middle of the Hill Country Land and I was having a blast. The food was amazing and it felt like there was a different dish every 15 minutes! The wine selection was one of a kind because it included local wineries. Plus, it helped me get the dancefloor going! In the end, Richard told us that we spoke the same musical language which was awesome. That means that I was able to add my creative touch to this awesome Vaudeville party.
Thanks for letting me DJ your party guys,
Ric
